Disco Dance Party places a single character on a colorful dance floor. Your task is to move left and right by swiping with the mouse, positioning the character to catch shiny crystals that appear across the screen. Each crystal caught adds points to your score. At the same time, disco balls fall from above. If one hits your character, you lose a life. The round ends when the timer reaches zero, and you must still have at least one life remaining to complete the dance party successfully.
Controls and Moment-to-Moment Decisions
Everything is controlled with left and right swipes. There are no complex button combinations or timing windows beyond the movement itself. The challenge comes from reading the screen quickly: crystals and disco balls can appear in quick succession, so you constantly choose between chasing a crystal and retreating to a safer spot.
