Shooting by Drag and Release

Every shot in Arcade Hoops Precision begins with a single gesture. On a touchscreen you drag back and release; with a mouse you click and pull. The distance and direction of that pull set the ball's angle and power. There is no dribbling, no defender, and no clock. A clean swish returns a distinct sound and visual cue, while a miss resets quickly so the next attempt starts without delay.

Streaks Change the Court

Early baskets come from a fixed distance with a stationary hoop. Once you string together consecutive makes, the hoop begins sliding left and right. Later stages vary the shooting distance as well, so you adjust aim between attempts rather than repeating one motion. The speed of these changes climbs gradually, which keeps early rounds approachable while asking experienced players to stay consistent under shifting conditions.

Power-Ups and Timing

Special items appear on the court during play and can be stored for later use. Each provides a temporary advantage, such as slowing the hoop's movement or increasing the ball's pull toward the rim. When to activate a boost becomes a real decision: spend it on an easy shot and the benefit is wasted, but save it for a difficult sequence and a near-miss can become a basket. This adds a layer of choice without complicating the core loop.

Ball Skins and Session Length

Long scoring runs unlock new ball skins, ranging from classic orange to bold geometric patterns. These are visual only and do not affect shot behavior, but the unlock condition ties directly to performance, so each new design reflects a personal best. A round can last seconds or several minutes depending on accuracy, and the high-score system tracks your best streaks for players who want to return and beat their own record.
