Fuel gallons appear on the lanes, and steering a car over one adds to its reserve; missing a gallon means it keeps burning what it has. Running dry also ends the game. This creates a constant trade-off: the safe path around an obstacle may be the same path that skips a fuel pickup, so you are always weighing survival against resource management for two vehicles at once.
